Here we go. When did you start skateboarding?
I started skateboarding 19yrs ago when I was a kid.

Why did you start in the first place? Was there someone
locally that inspired you or someone outside Ghana at the
�me?

My whole life, I have been interested in ac�on sports. I use
to rollerblading & biking before i got into skateboarding. It’s
something I saw on TV and wanted to try.

I was inspired by pro skater Chris Cole.

What was your first trick besides ollie?
Shov it.

What is your go-to trick?

Kickflip.

And which trick is on your wishlist?
Crooked grind & hard flip.

Who is the most talented skateboarder in Ghana at the
moment?
It’s hard to say. People will say its me but may be there is

someone who is more talented than I am that I have not met
yet.

And who is the most talented skateboarder outside Ghana?

I will say, all skaters are talented in their own. Especially
those who came from nothing but made it through ska�ng.

I agree. Are there any professional skaters from Ghana that

live in the USA at the moment? In my research I came
across a guy called Kwami Adzitso. Do you know him?
I only know of 1 Ghanaian skater who is a pro. May be there
are some others.
